What's with WellTraveledProg's radical ideas about BCE/CE?

How can you claim that the Common Era system is not inherently tied to Christianity and Jesus? Whether the monk was off by a few years (he was remarkably close given what he had to work with), it's still a Christian system. By your logic the Muslim era doesn't have any Islamic bias then either?
