Why do so many YEC Christian posts on R&S claim that the theory of evolution is "inherently atheistic"?

Beats me. I believe that God gave us science to help us understand our world. I also believe, and I thought they did, too, that God is capable of anything. Why, then, don't they think he's capable of allowing evolution to happen? Double standards it sounds like to me.
