Aren't all romantic relationships inherently selfish in that they are about what makes YOU happy?

I mean the real reason anyone has a bf or gf or husband or wife is not because that person had some altruistic desire to fulfil someone's needs for no reward but because they want what makes themselves happy. The relationship only exists because you GET something from it.
